Capacitive proximity sensors
Capacitive proximity sensors are able to detect both non-metallic as well as metallic objects. The larger the dielectric constant of the object, the larger is the sensing range of the sensor. Capacitive proximity sensors can for example be used in the following applications:
- level control
- presence control
- level control of bulk solids
- final inspection of packaging procedures
